In Dubai, a city that has become a global business, financial and trade hub through decades of market-friendly government policies and favorable business conditions, the investor visa program offers a way for investors to legally reside in the UAE. This program supports business projects and enables investors to establish a secure future for their families and companies.

The investor visa is open to persons aged 18 and over who wish to work as investors, entrepreneurs or shareholders in a company in Dubai or the UAE. The visa, which is valid for three years, also entitles the applicant to apply for a corresponding residence visa for Dubai and to sponsor the applicant’s immediate family. A major advantage of this visa is the facilitated entry into GCC countries and the possibility to live continuously outside the UAE for up to one year without jeopardizing residency status.

To obtain the investor visa, investors can invest in residential properties worth at least AED 1 million or in a company in Dubai with a minimum capital of AED 72,000. Other options include the retirement visa for investors aged 55 and over and the partner visa for companies in Dubai’s free trade zones, which benefit from tax exemptions and allow foreign nationals 100% ownership.

Long-term investor visas for 5 or 10 years are also available. The 10-year visa requires a public investment of at least AED 10 million, while the 5-year visa requires the purchase of a property worth at least AED 2 million or an investment of at least AED 500,000 in a project approved by an accredited business incubator.

The application process for the investor visa can take several weeks to months, depending on the type of investment and the efficiency of the process. You can also sponsor your spouse and children with this visa.

The Dubai government’s policies offer attractive investment opportunities and a lifestyle characterized by luxury, innovation and cultural diversity.
